Diagnosis

Antennal clava in female strong, 1.6X as wide as width of 1st flagellomere, and without sense area; clava rounded at apex; clavomere 1 longer than 2; upper frons with two patches of strong reticulation in front of lateral ocelli; anterior part of lateral mesh-rows on scutellum reaching lateral margin of scutellum; mesoscutum and scutellum short with weak reticulation, golden-green with purple tinges, or metallic dark bluish-green in female, golden-green with red tinges in male; notauli as narrow and distinct grooves in posterior ½; female petiole 1.1X as long as wide. Distribution

Bahamas, Barbados, Colombia, Costa Rica, Grand Cayman, Guadeloupe, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Saint Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago, USA (Florida).

Biology

From Cirphis humidicola (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae); Cirphis sp. on sugar cane (Saccharum sp.) (Poaceae); Euplectrus platyhypenae (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae); Euplectrus floryae on Aellopos fadus (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae); Euplectrus sp. on unidentified Lepidoptera larva on rice; larva of Mythima sp. (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) on Oryza sativa; Spodoptera sp. (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae). Hyperparasitoid.
